1 bunch celery
4-5 kale leaves (preferably lacinato)
1 green apple
1 big handful of flat leaf parsley leaves
1 inch of fresh ginger
This juicing recipe comes from Megan Markey, who blogs at wholefamilyfare.blogspot.com. Here are some of her thoughts on this healthy juicing recipe: “I was reading one of my Mom’s juicing books the other day, and apparently celery juice is a nutritional powerhouse. It’s loaded with potassium, folic acid, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, and essential amino acids. On top of all that, it’s one of the most alkalizing things you can put in your body, and the essential oils in it help to regulate and calm the nervous system.”
We hope you get the chance to try both of these incredibly healthy juicing recipes! But, don’t forget to try the other three juicing recipes from Roots Juices’ original post.
